    1973 340 Balance question

Hello everyone, looking for some technical help! My buddy and I are putting together a pretty much stock 1973 340 small block and I am not sure on the whole balancing issue. There is so much info between the 340/360s when it comes to internal vs external and so on. Here is what I have: Block #...

    904 Transmission cross reference

Thanks guys. The car originally came with a 318 and a 904. My buddy has the 904 (it's free) and it came out of a '73 Road runner that also had a 318. I have another friend who will go through it for me. We were just not sure of the extension housing length being the same on the two cars. If it...

    904 Transmission cross reference

As I am looking around, didn't the 904 only come with one tail shaft housing length and the 727 had several different ones? I guess what I am wondering is if the RR 904 would be a direct fit into my Cuda without changing tail shafts?

    904 Transmission cross reference

Guys, Will a 904 out of a 1973 B-Body Road Runner (has long tail shaft) work in my '73 Cuda? I am thinking the E body used a shorter tail shaft. Thanks!

    AAR Cuda Hood

Wow, I cannot find an original hood anywhere to get an idea of where to start on this thing! I know Year One wants $950 for a reproduction.

    AAR Cuda Hood

Thanks for the info. There are no real cracks in it but there are four cut marks around the center of the scoop that were intentionally put there. Almost looks like they were trying to make relief cuts to allow for flexing or bulging. Also, along both side of the hood there is aluminum angle...
