I will look through the rest of these 77,448,000 million screws and try to find two with the large head. That’s what I needed. I think you very very much.

OK, that’s awesome but those flats screw heads that look like that are generally sheet metal screws and not a 1032 machine screw

71 DOOR trim retainer screw and nut

I have the nut and I have all the retainers and they popped into the door nicely. I just need the front two, which is a very short 10 x 32. I still have about 1600 screws to put back into this car before I’m done and they’re all spread out on the flower colored blanket on my floor behind it so I...

Yes exactly that screw. I will not use a single screw on this car that it wasn’t on it from the factory

The screw that holds the door trim the upper garnish that resides between the window and the drivers mirror the screw that holds the very front part of that trim in place. Right above the last time My finger here.

71 DOOR trim retainer screw and nut

On this 71 Deputy, I cannot find my proper 10x32 front side retainer screw. Does anyone have a picture of theirs? I do have the rear retainer nuts that came off, but I misplaced the front end, I need a picture or the head style for this restoration. Thanks guys!

Since this is coming out of my own pocket, I may as well just do that because I do want it to be politically correct every single nut and bolt car. The only thing I’ve changed on the car is a no longer using just an acrylic enamel paint and I did not use the original 2barrel and intake, manifold...

Thanks for the tip on applying a little bit of heat to soften that hard plastic. I just got a find an ashtray that has the tabs I can bend and I should be in business. It’s never going to get used to because the owner doesn’t smoke and he’s giving it to his grandson who also doesn’t smoke...

Thanks Marty. I took this off the rotisserie about four five and a half years ago…. She’s been on her new shoes for a year and a half. Whoever bought it new traded it in about four months after they got it was about 4000 miles on it. My clients father bought it and he took it to 288,000...

Yes, I am doing the restoration on this 71 every single nut and bolt and screw every single body panel removed. The only thing I did not do was rebuild the transmission that went to my friends at ABC transmissions in Tacoma and I did not do the machine work on the block that went to my machinist...
