    Front Sway Bar...?

Ahh, yes it does. Their B body bars are wider and bolt on at the lower shock mount. I suppose you could use one of those on an E body. Cruise night judges will criticize you harshly for doing so because it won't be going through the K frame as they mount in front of it. In my use on a B body...

    Front Sway Bar...?

I've seen this most often on Addco bars - Dodge Challenger 1970-74 Front - Addco It is simply a thick, about .25", angle bracket with two holes in it. You can see them in the picture at the above link. They are sitting next to the bracket that holds the bushing. My last B body project used this...

    Front Sway Bar...?

Welding the mounting brackets to the control arm is the best method, but not a requirement for use. Some after market bars will have kits for cars with or without existing mounts. Kits for cars without mounts will include a bolt on bracket that attaches with the lower shock bolt. These are very...

Has anyone modified the reverse light lenses on a 72-74?

The newer Challengers are actually narrower than the old ones. Taller too.

    16" or 17" Rally Wheels

...and 18 have more tire choice than 17, and 16s are getting harder and harder to find and 15 selection sucks. Its a bit of a wild goose chase as tire manufactures continue to evolve the performance tire genre. IMO, stay with 15s, get a nice cosmetic performance tire, driver it regularly and...

    Do I have a 340 Rallye Challenger??

That does look like a factory rear sway bar. I'd double check your measurements on it. Those are supposed to be 3/4" thick. I also see a four leaf spring pack. I couldn't imagine the Rallye package came with 318 springs under it.

    Torsion bar delete

Would have been nice to see the illustration with that tech memo. I recall reading an article on a 1st gen Mustang were stich welding the various sheet metal seams throughout the car resulted in a 35% increase in torsional rigidity. That's a pretty serios gain with minimal additional weight in...

    Do I have a 340 Rallye Challenger??

The collection of parts that this car is doesn't really mean anything in regards to rear end ratios. It has, IMO, been cobbled together to be a roller with whatever parts the seller, or previous sellers, had lying around. The various parts that do have VINs that don't align with the stamped...

    Torsion bar delete

If you race your car in an environment where you need rapid springs changes, need to perform changes for track conditions, or have a need to dial in those spring rates within 50-100# of perfect, then a coil over system can be a benefit. It also will reduce weight in the front of the car and may...

How much can I get out of a 318.

Don't overlook the chassis and safety requirements for running 10s. Per NHRA 10.99 seconds (6.99 1/8th) or Super Street SFI 4.1 Transmission Shield, or at 135 mph Locking transmission dipstick tube Aftermarket axles and axle retainers SFI Harmonic Balancer Roll Cage with altered floor...

Which aftermarket gauges are good these days?

I've seen Speedhut come up in a number of conversations for high quality, off the shelf, and customizable configurations. You can get special backgrounds, unique font and graphics, lighting, gauge combos, and more. They were started by a handful of Autometer guys who wanted to offer a broader...

I modified the reverse lights on my 73 challenger (Pics included).

Couldn't you have just used the complimentary lens from the opposing side instead of performing surgery? You know, take the outboard left lens to put in the inboard right position? I assume with either method you still need to extend the taillight wiring to that position and disable the reverse...

How much can I get out of a 318.

No experience with their stroker kits. I have bought other items from them and have been satisfied with those parts. I notice the compression ratios on their 426 kit are street friendly, if that is a goal. Their 408 premium high compression kit does have ratios more along the line of a race...

Interior of the Aspen I used to bracket race for a lot of years. You can run it as long as it passes tech.

    Aftermarket Cruise Control

Ditto. We used to use Fridgette and AAR Systems cruise controls. They had a transducer that went in between the speedo cable and trans, so we didn't have to do the magnet thing. Also did factory appearing, in dash a/c systems too. Myhow the time flys by....
