Great catch and thanks for your inquiry... I don't believe it's a repaint and is original as stated. Maybe missed on the line or opted out, I have pictures from original owner who passed away and car was attained by a collector then I purchased and have owned since. This car is highly documented...

One very expensive repaint in 1985 in it’s original color with factory paint. Still looks brand new today, no hit body with all original body panels. Absolutely zero rust then or now!
