Ok thanks everyone. I believe it's coming from resistor and seems like it goes to positive on coil.

I though of that just want to be sure. There's a thick blue wire coming off ballast resistor...anyone know if a ballast resistor wire has to go to the coil to operate correctly?

Yes the correct wires are going to ballast resistor.

I have a 70 challenger, I just replaced the wiring engine harness with one from year one. I'm trying to figure out where the blue and gray/black wire go that coming out of engine harness on passenger side. I believe the gray and black wire is for rpm tach and goes to negative side of coil...

Thanks guys! My other question is for the hazard flasher for my 70 challenger up by the brake pedal..is it a 2 way, 3 way or a 4 way flasher? Trying to get a new one.

Hello I have a 1970 challenger rt and i need help identifying this switch on passenger side behind glove box. It has a bracket on it and 4 wires going to it. 2 yellow/black, 1 red, 1 blue white. This is a dash harness from year one. See pic Where can I get a brand new one at?

No reproductions. You have to find a Original and rebuild it, if you want the correct carb your car came with.

The list on E body only that people have put up says my car should have numbers of: Holley R4218-A and 3418 543 on the carb. All I see on the carb I just got is..... 3579 List 4218-3 And 6R3435B. Is this still the correct one?

Mines a 1970 rt challenger 383 automatic No air conditioning with N 95 option. California car. Built in LA

I found this carb. Holley 3579 List 4218-3 Also has the number 6R 3435 B What is this carb for? Can anyone decode this for me. I look at the carb identication list on here and I see similar numbers but not exact to this one I just got. Any help is much appreciated
