Changing 7 Qt oil pan without pulling the engine over new paint?

I have to change a 7 Qt oil pan and don't want to pull the motor to do it. I know it is easier when out of the car but any one have any tips to make it easier with it still in the car? Any comments will be welcome. Lime Lite 70

I posted my pic on the restoration forums page under Lime Lite 70. All the pic were done in April and I made it to Mopar in the Park in Stillwater Mn for the three day show it was great. I put 3,800 miles on it from May to Oct and enjoyed every minute of my ride where ever I went.

    1970 AARCuda

I rebuilt the booster and refinished it with VHT Cast Iron paint from Summit Racing. You have to clean the booster really well and the paint adheres well and looks good. I hope this helps. Good Luck

Good luck with your rebuild, don't give up when the going gets tough. Got mine in 1970 and run for 5 years and on blocks for 36 years. Restored in 2012/14 and repainted again in Mar-Apr of this year and running the tires off it. Have fun in the build and age is wisdom and spirit.

Thanks It was work but a lot more fun. With paint shop work and the reassembly I have 385 work hours give or take a few, who's counting? At 70 I think it was a good work out and didn't have to go to the Gym for a few days.
