    Rear Disc Brake Remorse

I'm currently pulling the Wilwood rear disc brakes in favor of the Dr Diff drum kit for 15" factory steel wheel clearance the Wilwood calipers don't allow.

    Another fender tag validity question

Thank you all who have responded. I have at least two independent folks with known credibility that say there is/are something wrong with the tag codes - and that's enough for me. I've contacted the owner of the car and declined the swap.

    Another fender tag validity question

    Sorry I haven't been clear. The car has a non-numbers 383 currently - no 340 in sight.

    Another fender tag validity question

No build sheet or window sticker - nothing else but the original fender tag to prove provenance. I'd have to source a small block bellhousing and 340 to convert it back.

    Another fender tag validity question

Thank you. The owner made a duplicate from the original. I'm interested in what options were changed/added. I'm trying to do my research before possibly making a deal/trade for my '68 Hemi Dart. Please feel free to PM me - I'll keep our conversations between us.

    Another fender tag validity question

Thanks Juan. Yes, the pictured tag is a repop of the original - which he also has.

    Another fender tag validity question

I've got a friend who sent me a picture of his fender tag. I decoded it and included it below. Only glitch is there is a 383 in the car now. No build sheet. So, what do we think? Is the fender tag legit or is there something there that shouldn't be, isn't there that should be? Finally...

    fuel injection upgrade

Greetings. As Xcudame suggested, most any aluminum 383/400 intake can be converted to direct port fuel injection. Also, Indy Cylinder Heads sells a low deck multiport efi intake with fuel rails already mounted (Intake Manifold Archives - Indy Cylinder Head) if you wanted to piece together your...

    6 Pack Hood Question

I see you noted the body numbers & VIN are a '72 - so the car is a '72. The title thing is a definite problem. IF, and it's a big if, the title can be worked out, you'd have to ask yourself how much of the work (welding, body work, paint, electrical, mechanical, etc.) you can you do yourself...

Why all the hype? 4 speeds

I think the question is like asking: "Mary Ann or Ginger?" I prefer automatics at the track for more consistent shift points and never a missed shift (Ronnie Sox I ain't). On the street, it's hard to drink that milkshake with a 4-speed. Having said that, I am also putting a TKX into my...

New (?) PayPal fee for Goods/Services

I have been asking for 3.6% when the buyer elects to pay via Goods/Services and I've been spot on - until today. This was the first transaction in 2026 and, based on what PayPal took out, their new 'lack of service fee' has jumped to 4.5%. I'm sure they sent notice but I must have just missed...
