rear trim--does the package tray go on top of the trim, can't remember if the trim was that wide

My package tray and interior panels are repo. When I found the car previous owner had glued shag carpet onto tray and had put bulbous Kraco speakers on top. The plastic panels were originally blue he painted them white with a brush. Mine line up good enough probably better than the slip shod way...

rear trim--does the package tray go on top of the trim, can't remember if the trim was that wide

Are you talking about the little dip in the trim needs to line up with the package tray/plastic interior panel junction? I went out to my 71 challenger in the garage my package tray is under the panel and the dip is closer to the junction. I think if your plastic panel is pushed closer to the...

    Engine Oil

Boy I'm way off in left field..the old hot rodder machine shop who built my moderately built 440 years ago recommended Rotella 15-40 heavy duty diesel oil with 8 oz of zddp. I change the oil once a year usually with about 500 miles of so. Oil is barely discolored. And always a wix filter.

The guy I bought my challenger from 14 years ago have me a whole van full of mopar parts. In the early eighties when he acquired the car he said he would go to a local you pick-a-part junkyard and get all kinds of various parts off challengers. They sure came in handy when I restored my car...

I have a challenger with the similar tips mine are barely outside the valence. I wish my exhaust shop had stuck them out around a inch after a few years of driving the chrome gets a little discolored from the hot exhaust. It will come off with chrome cleaner. A couple of years of driving for me...

    Oil Filter Leak/Too Much Pressure?

I'm a big believer in Six filters...hand tighten as much as you can and just give it a little more with a filter wrench...I have never had leaks.

What's the funnest/funniest reaction that you have had with your car.

Was at a early morning caffine & octane after I parked my 71 440 4 speed challenger a young lady was looking over my car and asked what it was I replied it was the original challenger made by Dodge she replied in all seriousness " I didn't know there was a original challenger"!

    MSD ignition and rally tach

When my mechanic installed my new 440 in my challenger he had to install a MSD tach adapter. I have a rally dash and a MSD distributor and a 6A ignition box.
