Value of ac components for a 1973 Cuda

So my parents are selling their house and I had to remove all my Cuda parts I have stored there and bring to my house. I'm going to keep most but I would like to sell one group of parts and I was wondering what that fair value is. I have all parts including the dash, vents, related body parts...

    71 Cuda Griil Trim

I was wondering if anyone could let me know how the grill trim on a 1971 Cuda grill is held in place not finding any videos online. The reason I ask is the I have had a grill on my car for over 30 years without the trim. I see the trim is readily available at a fair price. My grill was in two...

towing question/ need taller 14" tires

I agree with you but do you think the car set too low to tow. I think the tow guy was an idiot. The rims are new a gift from the wife as for cheap tires I replace them every five years as they start to crack but the tread is like new. Do you think I could crank the torson bars up a bit? How high...

towing question/ need taller 14" tires

The car is not modified see attached photos. The rear leaf springs are new and the car sits higher than it did with the old ones. What do you use instead of Teflon tape? The front tires are 215 60 14" (23.5" dia.) rear are 245 60 14 (24.5") not sure if these photos are attached correctly

towing question/ need taller 14" tires

I recently almost needed a tow for my 1973 Cuda due to a carb that was flooded because Teflon tape hung the float in the carb. I did not tow the car because the tow truck driver said my car was too low and he would damage the front or rear valance with the chain used to pull the car up the flat...

    Wiper Linkage

Does anyone know where I can buy a bushing that goes next to this clip for my wiper linkage? I bought a part from Year One their part # wb22 which is not the part I need. They told me that I have the less common linkage and do not have the part I need. The wiper linkage fell apart and I was...

car stall after startup 1973 cuda w/ 340

I could not tell it was flooding until a got a second person to keep motor running while I looked at carb. The oil has been changed and hopefully no more tape will move. What are your thoughts on the cylinder look for the column should I just by local or are the ones from the...

car stall after startup 1973 cuda w/ 340

A piece of Teflon tape got stuck in one of the needle and seats of carb and it was dumping fuel. This was from when I plumbed the fuel pressure gauge. That being said the cylinder lock in the column is sloppy and must be replaced. The local auto parts have them for $18 might be junk, not...

car stall after startup 1973 cuda w/ 340

I ‘m having a problem with my car. These are the events in order as they occurred. A few weeks ago I took the car for a ride. It stalled in traffic and the battery was low from not being driven because it was at a friend’s garage where we did some recent work I could not get it started. Called...

    correct transmission fluid

The manual is the orginal one that came with the car. The rebuilder died two years ago. Based on what I find in the store the Dexroniii / Mercon is the closest blend to the orginal dexron so I guess that is what I will use to top of transmission. I just moved my car to a friends house who has...

    charcoal canister

The carb is new from last August and I had the same issue with the old one. The old carb had been rebuilt at least four times over the last 20 years and it was getting worn. The hoses at the fuel evaporator where replaced a while ago but are still in good shape. Changing the hoses did not...
