    Stripped Sheet Metal Holes

I tried all three methods to repair the stripped holes. The wire worked the best for the sil plates, the welds worked on larger holes, and the rivet nuts worked great on the firewall. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.

    Rear Window Installation

Does anyone have experience using urethane adhesive to install a rear window? I got a couple of quotes for over $200, just to glue the window in. The glass is already out of the car. I checked the internet, all I could find was the installation with butyl tape. May be I need to widen the search...

    Rust Repair

Thanks, There looks like there have been a number of patches. I plan on making some repairs on the frame. I have a welder so I may tack in in place and get it professionally welded. I think for time sake, I may replace the fender. I live in Southern Calif. will undercoating it , retain moisture...

I agree. That's what I'm worried about. I bought the car because Barracudas don't come up for sale very often.

    Stripped Sheet Metal Holes

Do you use a strand of wire from a certain gauge of wire (14 gage)? or do you use solid core wire? Thanks

    Stripped Sheet Metal Holes

If this was wood instead of metal, I could jam a tooth pick in the hole for the screw to bite. I guess a copper wire would do the same. Thanks

    Stripped Sheet Metal Holes

What is everyone doing with stripped sheet metal holes? The easiest thing is to get a larger screw. But what do you do with the holes for the sil plates or other areas that are visible? I tried JB weld Steelstik, that didn't work. Should I use the liquid epoxy or thread lock? Thanks
