    SOLD 1971 CHALLENGER 340 R/T

Thanks Cuda Hunter. I've looked under the seats (rear and front)... and couldn't find the broadcast sheet. Perhaps it was removed back when the seats were custom re-upholstered (back then, no one really cared about those sheets). There is a possibility that it might be located above the...

    17 x 9 Cast Rallye Wheels w/ 275/40-17 tires

The 275-40-17 is actually a pretty small tire.. especially in diameter. The Year One rims have the correct backspacing (regardless 8" or 9")... and they will properly fit that tire/wheel combo without any problems.

Recommendation for Radiator for rebuilt 340 71 Challenger

I've recently purchased a US Radiator... 22", Triple Flow Aluminum (two 1" rows). I was initially pleased until I saw how much they cheat on the actual width. I don't think its intended, but its a definite negative in their design. My core support opening is 22"... yet the radiator is...

    3.23 or 3.55 gears

I've run all three gears... 3.91, 3.55, 3.23... I love the 3.23 as it's great on the highway... and still has plenty of get-up and go! But.. I've also ran the 3.91 on the highway... just have to go a little slower mph.... I've even run 4.30 gears... then consider a trailer or just driving...

FOR SALE T/A CYLINDER HEADS FOR SALE

T/A CYLINDER HEADS FOR SALE -- I have four (4) bare T/A Cylinder Heads for sale. These have been my personal spares in case I would need them for my T/A race car. I've had them for over 30+ years -- stored indoors. They are not damaged or rusted, but would need a complete overhaul (hot-tank...

    73 Cuda - Front Tires/Wheels: Opinions Please

DustyDave -- you'll be amazed what is available in different rim sizes, offsets... etc. Just be flexible with the styles. Realistically, you could get exactly what you need and want... but have to be willing to spend the money on custom rims. Search and study some more.

Road Course Track Day Ended with Bad Engine Knock :-(

I'll tell you from experience (48 years of it all with my Challenger!)... when attempting road course events (or autocross) -- these are addictive!!!... the #1 needed modification to your car should be a baffled oil pan. The BB engines can simply use a 440-6 baffled pan... having factory front...

Who has the Borgenson power steering box for E-Body?

Federal pumps are undesirable... slow and insufficient power assist. Saginaw is best and preferred... no problems!

Windage Tray on 340 - Use the original or go with new Milodon windage tray with new larger Milodon oil pan? Is there a difference?

I think Mopar Muscle magazine did a SB build a few years ago.. installing the Milodon windage tray with road race oil pan... and they mentioned they had to cut the length of the four new main cap studs (from Milodon) so to properly install the windage tray without further interference. Yep...

    Any shock absorber suggestions....

Would you consider using taller rear tires?... 275-60-15 rear, and ~245 or 255-60 front? That would give you a slight "rake" effect. As previously said, raising the rear ride height deteriorates the handling of the car.

FREE INDOOR RACING SCHOOL - MARCH 18, 2023 - HSAX, W2W, CORNER WORKING

Well... for those of you who missed it for whatever reason, we had an excellent indoor classroom with all attendees... close to 50 students!.. despite a fairly cold day only in the upper 20s (coldest day of 2023). We walked the track mid-day (just before our lunch break... Subway Sandwiches for...

13in Baer Track 4 brake fits 17in YearOne Rallye rims ?

Regarding the design/shape of the wheels, that's a common physical interference problem even with 15" rallye rims and slightly larger aftermarket rotors/calipers. Too bad the 17" don't clear that radius of the inner shaped rims vs the caliper. Possibly, you could file/grind down the calipers...
