    Classic Car Repair Shop

I voted yes. My neighbor up the road opened a repair facility specializing in older cars like ours. So I support him with things that I cannot do such as an alignment and A/C. I do all the rest of the repairs

    Dakota Digital gauges-mounting

The control box for my Dakota Digital speedo cluster tucks up nice and out of the way of just about anything.

    Dakota Digital gauges-mounting

Since your car has A/C, like mine, you can mount the control box where the non-A/C car has a manual vent on the drivers side upper cowl. Its a nice flat spot with plenty of room to mount. I used hook and loop, not velcro, to hold it up there. Its out of sight with room to access it if needed...

Carter 6903 fuel pump blow through

They have a website that gives basic information. The company that was hired to do their website closed during covid so thats why the website is incomplete. The company is called "Then and Now Automotive". Then and Now Automotive I would call the number on the website. It took them about 3...

Carter 6903 fuel pump blow through

Took the Mistress out for the last ride of the year in November of last year. The ride was great, so I thought. A day later there was a strong odor of gas and a puddle of gas behind the passengers rear tire right where the fuel return line enters the rear frame rail. I thought that was odd, it...

    AC restoration or vintage air?

Hello Katfish I ordered the expansion valve from E-bay. Classic auto air also sells one. The price was more not including shipping. The E-bay one was cheaper including the shipping. The link is below for the one I bought and who I bought it from. 65-74 Mopar B-Body & E-Body A/C EXPANSION VALVE...

    AC restoration or vintage air?

I had to go down this exact route with my Barracuda. I had my original heater box/evaporator rebuilt many years ago before Vintage air etc. were around so I did not want to spend that money again. My car was a 318 and now a 440 6bbrl so I could not use the RV2 style compressor. I upgraded to a...

    Steps installating interior

My advice to making any holes for visors, seat belt holes etc. is to take lots of pictures before installing the headliner. Add making tape with measurements and arrows showing from where you measured, then take the picture. When you need to make any holes, don't use a razor, use a soldering...

70 challenger cruise control/ directional lever install??

Doesn't the steering column separate just below the directional? There are 3 philips head screws and that section comes off. They you can add the plug intact and snake it down the column. I don't remember disconnecting my wires from the plug when I reinstalled the cruise control/directional switch.

    70 Challenger Steering Issues

If the problem occurred right after the pitman arm was replaced, I would look there first. You may have over tightened the bolt that attaches it to the subframe. If I remember correctly, I think my pitman arm had a sleeve inside the rubber and would only tighten to the length of the sleeve. I...
