what fluid in my 833-new rebuild

Mix two oil weights? And it is regularly over 100 degrees (in the shade) here. It has been 106 just in the last week...

    6 pack issue

Psycho is correct as usual, but I did want to point out that all sixpack setups/combos have a little lag. But I have always thought it was worth it...

Header leak - I need advice

With headers, try Permatex Ultra Copper - THIN bead. On both sides of gasket. Use some copper based anti-seize on the bolts/studs. Torque to spec. Fire it up, let get to temp, and re-torque. After a couple hundred miles, check torque again.

what fluid in my 833-new rebuild

My Chrysler shop manuals recommend ATF. I have had no problems using it over the years. I think there is a subtext about using heavier like 80/90 if you want less noise tho.

    complete a/c setup

Have any more pics of brackets and mounting parts? Maybe from the top passenger side?

    Harmonic Balancers

OK. Still seems odd to me. I have much more experience with RB motors and I know of no difference in the balancers insofar as trans choice. Just Cast vs Forged crank Ext/Int balanced. Sure would be a bother to get this motor in and find that I have the wrong one - Obviously... Bah

    4 speed trans

If its an overdrive, the 3/4 lever might be upside down. Flip it over (you might have to bend your shift rod a little) then check how it shifts.

    Harmonic Balancers

I was looking at new harmonic balancers for my freshly rebuilt 360 and am seeing under "notes" on some of them that some are for auto, and some are for manual trans. What is the difference? It's going in front of a 4-speed, but am curious why it makes any difference to an externally balanced...

    73 bumperettes

Burdar is correct; they will not fit. What I did was fab my own metal rear "bumperettes" and coat them in 3M undercoating so that they appear to be rubber. I simply took the front ones off. I will post pics when I get them installed. If they look as good as I hope that is...

    '69 Super Bee wanted

Yeah I have seen that one. It's nice. If it was given to me I would take a lot of parts off of it to put on a 69 :icon_thumleft:

    '69 Super Bee wanted

I have 5. Only 2 are 4-speed and both are bucket/console. Both green. No sidescoops either. Not really for sale tho. They're my favorite. The 69 Bee is the most underrated mopar ever, IMO. Not a fan of the 68 or 70 tho, so go figure... Good luck tho, there are still a few around. I...

    My Sad Tale!

About 15 years ago I was on my way to pick up two parts car '70 Chargers in Nacagdoches (I live several hours west of there) and got lost on some secondary road and saw the taillights of a 70 Sat/RR/GTX back in some trees. I stopped and the wife of the owner let me look and it was a real V...

    Seat Covers

Anyone know who makes some high-quality seat covers that fit the rear seat? Not the vinyl original cover, but one that installs over it with clips or other fastener. My daughter likes to make a food mess in the back seat when taking her out in the chally and would just like something I can...
