I forgot the photos 😅 Here's Volendam in the Netherlands, cute little place around an hour north of Rotterdam. Of course Gouda cheese everywhere Here's the 360 in the car, the poor Peugeot Partner suspension didn't expect that, but it did just fine. These FWD little vans are honestly...

    360 with a 3" dual exhaust - What to expect ?

Allright, thanks everyone, I'll have to think about it. I might have someone local who could do a full stainless exhaust for a very reasonable price.

Yesterday was a big trip to the Netherlands near Rotterdam to pick up that 360 ! Really happy with the purchase so far, the engine appears to be in great condition. It came from a 1985 Dodge Ram, that was being converted to a Cummins diesel. The seller was a former racer of vintage Alfa Romeo...

    360 with a 3" dual exhaust - What to expect ?

Hello, I currently have a 3" straight dual exhaust in my Cuda, and I'm going to install a stock-ish early 360. I know it's way oversize for a 360, but how would a small block behave with such a big exhaust system ? Thanks

    WTB 340 / 360 motor mounts

Hello, I'm in need of 340 or 360 motor mounts. Let me know if you have a set. They would have to be shipped to Florida. Thanks !

    Hello from France !

Yes it's just fine for me, I truly wish it still had the 340, it feels like the right engine for a 'Cuda. A 360 is the closest thing from that without breaking the bank, and the early ones have similar power. That 4bbl Olds 350 felt just right, super smooth in town, easy to pick up on the...

    Hello from France !

Sure, but at what cost, and for what purpose ? I'm not going to use this power, and the fuel consumption that goes with a souped up big block will make me hesitate to drive the car.

To be fair there isn't much more information that what he said, it's a Barracuda with a 170ci slant 6, a 3 speed manual, white with the H6T5 saddle interior, center console, standard gauges, front power disc brakes, manual steering, no sway bar. It has the Rim Blow steering wheel but I'm not...

    Hello from France !

I should get even more than what I pay for that combo !

    Hello from France !

I could, but honestly all I really want is a nice reliable cruiser with enough power to have a bit of fun. I absolutely LOVED driving my 71 Cutlass Supreme, it was an all original 350 4bbl and it was such a smooth ride with the right amount of go. I hope to get something similar out of it. I...

His car is really unique, it doesn't have the typical US VIN or a fender tag as it was built in the Netherlands. I don't remember the VIN but it's completely different. So if you have a registry like I do, it will need a separate list for the NEKAF cars.

Yes I sent a message back when I was about to buy the car, but it was something about the Special Interest Auto Club, he sent the document to the owner in 2016 but it didn't come with the documentation of the car so I don't know what it is... By the way, it is a US model, imported in France in...

    No I wish but that's a 1978 engine, cast on october 27 1977

So the next part is to replace the engine and trans. Why ? I think a small block is better suited in a "small" car like that. And that's what it came with originally. Also legally it's kind of a problem here unfortunately... 340s are very hard to come by and expensive. 318s are a bit low on...

Here's the partial VIN of the engine (same for the 727) : It has 4006452 heads which could be the original ones for that version of the 440. It's very clean under the valve covers. The underpinnings aren't so clean, years of soot everywhere. You can clearly see a problem with the...
