    A mechanics stethoscope is a friend when isolating noises. Not expensive thru amazon.

    Here's my choke connection setup using a double male/single female piggyback terminal.

    I actually think the shacker hood does suck in air, but it's not a "ram air" effect. The true ram air effect is good for about 5hp.
