Hey all. Looking to get some opinions, preferably from folks with experience with the product. Whats everyone’s opinion on the Shaker hold from AMD for the 1970-1971 Challenger? Has anyone used one? Good ? Bad? I know the aftermarket stuff isn’t the greatest but AMD seems to have the best stuff out of all now. Anyone who’s used this hood please comment and let me know what you think. I’d love to use a factory one but between finding one and if you do, the cost, it’s not really in the cards right now . Thanks in advance!!

I used one on a 70 challenger. The fit was great, my body guy said it needed to be stripped down and primed. It had a few ripples in it that needed to be sanded out.
It fit great and the curve of the hood matched up to the fenders perfectly.

I have been thinking about adding a Shaker hood assembly on to my red Challenger. I love the Super Shaker set up I custom made for my blue Challenger

I have a Challenger shacker hood from ADM and it's about as good as a factory one. As with any replacement, expect a few hours of "body" work to make it perfect. I'm actually using the hood not as a shacker! I'll start a thread when I get a little further on the project. Only my son and @heminut has seen my project so far! 😁

Not a shaker, but I got a Rallye hood from AMD about two years ago and it was super close right out of the box. I wouldn't have any qualms about buying from them again.

The shaker hood sold by AMD is very good. I don't think there is a better non-original shaker hood out there.
I used quite a few AMD parts restoring my Cuda including a Shaker Hood. they have excellent quality.
