Yes it comes as an assy I would look on ebay as those are off of like 2015 up any ford product. I got mine for $47 from lkq group. Came complete with 2 horns and the bracket as well as the pigtail. I work in the collision industry so I get to see a bunch of modern things like these horns that to...
Sorry for the delay this is the best I could do with it up on stacker. Excuse the wiring I was try to get everything ready for the power tour trip to Vegas so it was rushed.
Its on a stacker out back in the garage. Maybe from the bottom There's a crap ass duster underneath it that hates a cold start for whatever reason "6cyl." I have no intention of doing anything but yanking out. I'll see what I can do. They come on one bracket and were a breeze to install.
I put late model Ford Explorer horns on mine. They don't look stock but don't look like they don't belong either. ebay or the wrecking yard they are every where just make sure you cut the pigtail so you have a clean install.
make it yours while keeping the soul of the car is the way to go. When i hit the starter and here that sound of a vintage mopar it puts a smile on my face
i'm dealing with a similar issue with the green bearing failure. I have found the preload spacer that is almost if not exactly like a piece of axel that's about an 1 1/2 wide and looks nothing like the link above, where its a 2 piece button. i'm told i need to remove it so the green bearing...
hey guys was looking for a thread that that has the directions for the removal of the bearing preload button/spacer that sits in the middle of the 8 3/4 pumkin I've tapped on it and it obvious its not gonna slide out easily. it is a posi and i see springs if that helps identify whether its the...
I found it ironic that the same thing happened to Steve and Dave on the 100th episode of roadkill garage, also on the Power Tour. East Coast, but same side. Also new and they only made it a few hundred miles. I wish I knew if they had removed the preload spacer. I'm putting in new one's...
besides the fact that they handlined in without a flex line I thought that they were light weight and I think you could change pads only with pliers and a screw driver. I doubt in my lifetime they will require it though. What drives your dislike?
Update for anybody that cares: As this is only 1 of 2 cars I have that I installed these in I was ordering 2 pairs first for obvious reasons and a spare set. I put a note to the Dr. diff folks that the first set smoked after 500 miles or less and they replied with:
Wilwood brakes are not...
It gets driven to and from the valley for the spring and fall fling a couple times a year, 25 miles each way and around town etc. Another 100 miles or so at the very most a year. I know I should enjoy it more. I have a demanding job and several rentals and I'm a cheap ass so spare time to enjoy...
...to put on my MacGyver hat and figure it out. The worst thing I can say about the green is unless you order a spare set to have on hand you are f****'d when one fails. If That were a tapered setup I would have made it to Vegas in time to autocross that thing. It took me about 10 minutes to...
I did 2 of these like that. The other one is a big block 4sp. Going back was my thought train as well. I'm all but sure I tossed all of that stuff. Why cant you run the rear disc brakes with the timkins?
I installed a set of green bearing had to be 4 or 5 years ago but less than 500 miles ago. Long story short, the Lt rear went out while headed to Las Vegas on the Power Tour. Of course a couple of Mopar Guys pulled over to help and a Motor Trend producer as well. At the time I thought the center...
fabricated some new motor mount brackets and raised up the front of the engine at least 1 1/2 inches went from 1 degree downwards up front to 3 degrees toward towards the rear gotta go to a friends shop that has a level 4 post drive on rack to verify the angles i did throw it up on the freeway...
I look at that and I’m sure if you maybe made it thru high school etc. its easy but a lot of math. my engine is one degree drop down in front so I’m gonna start with fabricating some new mounts to get at least a 2 degree sloop down towards the rear and I’ll read all of that again the TREMEC app...
Does anybody know off hand at what angle the engine and trans sit before you go changing everything and make your ebody shake at highway speeds. I just got to the point where I've narrowed it down to the drive line angles. After putting in that XV Motor sports suspension in. before selling it to...
Its made out of at least 6 pieces now. The 2 scoops have 2 chrome moldings and mount panel the more I think about it its probably made out of more pieces than that. While replying this and I looked down and there my search is.. Dec 22 and I still haven't installed either one of them. I bought a...
That would be great if they cinch you in good, keep u in place good that would work for when i do canyon cutting up in Malibu etc. I'm like you almost never wear them in any of my cars yes stupid. On top of that I run a pretty big Collision shop in LA and see it all day. I just expect all...
