As long as the clips are solid and the cost is reasonable I will take one. Thank you!!

WTB Wanted: one trim ring for 15" rallye wheel

If the clips are still solid I'll take it. Maybe a picture of the rear? How much do you want to get including shipping cost? Doug Baker

    72 wiring diagram questions

So I'm trying to ferret out a parasitic drain on my battery. When I remove the "hazard/stop" fuse the multi meter shows that is the problem circuit. My questions are around the wiring diagram. I have the wiring diagrams for the 72 and the 73 because there was a lot of talk about the 72 diag not...

    resources in northern New England??

I did not mean there would be no body work. I am trying to separate the jobs. So yes sand, filler, primer, paint, but not including sheet metal replacement which I would do myself. 10K for a decent job? Being from LA I assume you don't know a lot of shops in Maine??

    resources in northern New England??

Hi Folks, I've got my interior pretty well restored, and the 72 340 is running nicely, so I'm thinking about having the amateurish paint job redone. The is some rust coming through in a few of the usual spots due to similar quality body work which would be a part of the project. Two basic areas...

    Fuel Efficient Carb

Interesting discussion. I don't want to hijack the thread, but.... I'm very interested in EFI and/or overdrive for more relaxed interstate cruising, reliability and decent mileage when not jumping on it. I have a 72 Challenger 340 727. The 340 is from a 1970. Any opinions or sources of info or...

    Erratic speedometer

Relubing the cable seems to slightly improve the situation. perhaps this will improve over time as the cable loosens up. Any preference on lube? I'm using a liquid graphite.

    Erratic speedometer

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm going to lube once more, if that doesn't work I'll replace the cable. Last resort will be to send the speedo head out for repair

    Erratic speedometer

Thank you all, this forum is great! I pulled the inner cable, it looks perfect. I lubed with liquid graphite cable lube. The bouncing of the needle is not as extreme, but as I eased back into the garage the speedo was waivering between 60 and 80. Thoughts? Doug

    Erratic speedometer

Hi folks, I recently reinstalled the gauge cluster in a 72 Challenger 340 auto with rally gauges. I didn't know if the speedo worked before since the needle had been broken off but is now replaced. Took the car out last night and the needle jumps wildly. A search of the forums finds no thread on...

New upper control arms too small

The passenger side arm looks OK, so you guys are probably correct.

New upper control arms too small

Afternoon all, I bought a pair of stock upper control arms for my 72 Challenger from Roseville Moparts. At first they looked identical to the originals, but they are actually a bit too small. The yoke opening (bushing end) of the new ones is about 9 5/8". the originals are a 10" spread. The...

[Pics] About to buy this car. Could you guys give me some insight?

It is probably not an original 4 spd judging by the console mounting brackets on the hump.

    Sequence for easiest assembly?

Good Morning folks, I'm replacing ball joints, tie rod ends and sway bar links in my 72 Challenger. The shop manual treats them all as separate jobs. I'm wondering if there is an order to do these that is easiest. The center link and tie rod ends are already removed from an unrelated repair. The...
