I just don't have the means to do it from the bottom and besides that I've had this car since I bought it new in 1970 and have had this engine out of this car several times so I think I know what I'm doing but thanks for the input for you are all right in saying it should go in from the bottom...
I have no way to put the HEMI in from the bottom so I'll just do it the old fashioned way. Just about ready to do that now, first a new timing chain and I'll be ready to go. Got the paint done and everything back together as far as this go's.

well i've decided to start assembling the front end of the cuda and have run into a small problem. the sway bar has slight bends where it attaches to the links. question is do the bends point up or down? some of the pictures i've seen in books are not very good. which is right up or down...
