Do you have a pic of that installed? Does it lay flat over the contours?

torque convertor bolts keep coming loose.

Good looking car, can you provide some info on the suspension mods?

torque convertor bolts keep coming loose.

Good input, I bought some ARP bolts that bottomed out in the convertor lug. Had to hit them with an angle grinder to take a little off.

    73 Soft Pedal Learning Process

My problem was I had a soft pedal that went to the floor, 5 or 6 pump of the pedal would help slightly. After replacing the MC and calipers and then completely rebuilding the rears, there was no change. I put a brass plug in the front port of the MC (rear brakes), and then the pedal was rock...

    Barracuda Convertible price question?

There's no question you'll be money ahead by buying the most complete car you can afford. Then you have to ask yourself, do you want to work on a car for 5-10yrs before driving it? Some people do it as a hobby and enjoy the process. If that's you, make sure you understand that going in. I love...

    73 Soft Pedal Learning Process

I had an issue with no brake pressure and couldn't isolate the problem. I finally got some brass plugs and blocked off the ports on the MC, 1 at a time, and that immediately showed me the issue. Mine are manual brakes, but would be the same for power. I kept thinking I had an issue with the MC...

    Rear Disc Brake Remorse

Anyone ever measure the weight savings? How much heavier are drums, 5lbs per side?

    73 Soft Pedal Learning Process

Yep, that's exactly what happens when the rears lock up 1st. Thx for agreeing My whole point, is to concentrate on the brakes that do 80% of the work.

    73 Soft Pedal Learning Process

I'll go against the grain and suggest not spending too much time on the rear drums. 99% of the time these cars suffer from rear brake lock-up before the fronts. I fought this forever, smaller WC, smaller pads, etc. The fronts provide 80% of the braking, you could cap off the rear hydraulics and...

    4th switch ideas

Never could get my NSS working. I used that spot, with factory switch, to provide the ground for starting the car. Works like an improvised ant-theft device too. Car won't start unless you flip the switch, and no harm in flipping it off, even if the car is running. Previously had that...

    Flock cameras.....BAD

Well, that doesn't broadcast anything. GPS is a 1-way signal that any GPS receiver can pick up. It's entirely possible that a car that has GPS can save and store where you've been. But broadcasting that information is a whole other situation. Not saying some newer cars don't, but that's not...

First I've ever heard this, can you provide more details?

    Flock cameras.....BAD

I definitely don't want a police state where we're under constant surveillance. But it's been clearly litigated that there is no expectancy of privacy in public spaces, you can video anyone at anytime. So where's the distinction?

    73 Soft Pedal Learning Process

Glad you got it sorted out. Sorry to derail the original issue. I've always had manual brakes, so I can't provide any input with that.

    Package tray installation

Is it even possible to put it above the side panels? There's enough cardboard that mine would never fit that way.

    Speedometer Gear Accuracy problems-I'm stumped

Measure mileage, to check odometer. Good chance the speedo is the problem. They are magnetically coupled, sometimes the bushings wear out and it's not accurate. Happened to me.
