You'll love the drive ability of the new motors. I went from 340 to 5.7 and it's night and day. I've put more miles on my car in the last 18 months compared to the last 10yrs. And I had upgraded the 340 with FI, but it's no comparison.
I went ahead and routed the line from the evaporator to the compressor around the back of engine.
I like the idea of hiding the lines, like in pic, but you still need to get the largest sized line over to the compressor by the power steering pump.
Doesn't the entire load run through the amp meter?
With the lights, and other stuff on, I'd think you'd need more than 30A.
But the good part is it will be easy to up the fuse if needed.
I already mounted a trans cooler and overflow tank, but the real problem I see was the width. Your pic shows the dryer right up against the frame rail, and the connections on the driver's side will take something unique.
Headlight buckets need to be considered too.

I too used a factory radiator, couldn't fit the condenser because of all the other stuff occupying that area, will be interested to see how that turns out.
Seems crazy to pay $1000 for an aftermarket radiator when you can get a OEM solution for 1/4 the price.
