They even have the same offset on the #s, must not have completely dialed in the machine for centering. Old picture sucks, can't get a new one for a couple more days, but still shows the offset
Curious if it's C0E 100192? I have BH23 C0E 100322 and I know JH23 C0E 1004xx (same owner since '73). All first week of production cars. Mine just had paint laid down 2 days ago
...production), VIN of 100322 is really low, probably 1st few days of production..... But VON is 017258. Is VON just sequenced off total # of all body styles ordered? If that's the case, it would seem this Challenger was put in the order system *really* early (like day 1) when the order books...
too bad it wasn't for mine. not that it's anything special, but it would have been nice to have. if anyone owns 100677 I'd gladly gift over the sheet.
here is my tag with the skinny LA font too
My dad paid $1600 in '73 for a '70 /6 base model, parked it in '87, gifted to me in '13 and I'm hoping to be finished with the restoration by summer. Free is the only saving grace to this expensive endeavor
They absolutely came in e-bodies. My '70 (BH23 C0E) built on 820 had one under the back seat .... for another BH23 C0E about 350 #s later. Mine is B5/B5, the sheet car is EW1/B5
I definitely could, but taking a full day of print time each I don't think it would be worth it considering new metal reproductions are $250/set. If/when I get a second printer I'll do it for sure, but tying up 1 printer for 4 days is really tough, I need that time for production pieces.
I only have 2 center caps and thought 'why not print the other 2?' after a few iterations I just about have it nailed down now - it's @ a 97% match, good enough for me without spending a lot more time to get that last 3%. originals weigh 1.37lbs, mine is .28lbs - probably won't make a different...
Something like this I would get from a more reputable/reliable source like Brewers or Passon. Maybe those other kits are fine, but maybe they're also Chinese garbage. I'd rather do it right the first time and not have to go back if it fails. Plus I like supporting the small businesses versus the...
Great price. I just paid $1100 to have one rebuilt on top of the $600 cost to acquire it. $350 of that was LTL transport on a pallet 1/2 way across the country in case anybody is curious about shipping costs
