While cleaning up my bedroom I came across this magazine dated July 1999. They have a list of e bodies and their values at that time. If we only knew.

@Raycuda
Need that DeLorean time machine to go back and buy up some Mopars.
Glad you kept your TX9 `70 Cuda, Ray. It is priceless.
55 years of ownership is incredible.

That is pretty amazing to have bought a 70 Cuda and still have it!

How many folks out there bought a car new and still have it? Not just E bodies but any car?

I bought my in 2022. Paid 50k. 😭
And then shipped in Estonia, Europe, another 5k.
All the taxes. 8k.
Total 63k…
I know that is too much, but I really wanted it. 😎

I ordered and bought my '71 Challenger R/T 383 4 spd in Oct '70. Sold it in '77 when kids came along then found it and bought it back in '89. Then did a full restoration on it.

Bought my 70 `Cuda 340 automatic from the second owner in June of 1984 for $500. Drove away happy.

I bought my 73 Barracuda in 1988, I'm the third owner. Paid $2300 in 1988 and it was a driver then. Will be a driver again in 2025. It only took 37 years....

I also bought my red 70 Charger about that time when I was still a teenager in high school and it has always been my cruiser. Almost 37 years later and still unrestored and with now over 249,000 miles on it. Over 189,000 by me....

Bought my t/a in 1975 for $1,050. Of course it was a bit beat up and original motor was gone, but I kept it anyway.

Bought my 73 in May 1979, my Junior yr in HS for $500. Purchased two full 1/4's from the local Plymouth dealership (for $250, parts guy gave use them for cost)and had it painted that fall. Drove it on the street until1988 and then backhalved it. Raced it till 2006. Life got in the way so I pushed it in the corner. Started working on it again in 2018. It's street legal again but still more of a race car.

bought my 71 cuda 383 in 1984 for $1000 i call it the time machine when i get behind the wheel i feel 25 again

My dad paid $1600 in '73 for a '70 /6 base model, parked it in '87, gifted to me in '13 and I'm hoping to be finished with the restoration by summer. Free is the only saving grace to this expensive endeavor

My dad bought the 71 gran coupe in 81 for $75. Was rear-ended, and needed freeze plugs. In 1997 I gave him $1500 for it. In the end 2016 started restoration. 5 years and 3 body shops. Finally started the engine in 2024. Plans are to finish it in 2025 God willing.

Bought my 70 440-6 shaker Cuda in 86 for $5500. My 71 383 Cuda convertible for $11,000 in 1990. Still have both.
Bought a 1993 Mustang Cobra new, has 22,000 miles and probably worth as much as the 70 Cuda. I know. I know. Makes no sense to me either, but the kids that wanted and admired the 5.0's in late 80's, early 90's have the funds and pay stupid money for the right fox body.
