It happens! I had a Harley gas tank years ago that had been coated inside and the liner started coming loose and clogging my fuel petcock. That kind of soured me on fuel tank coatings.

I was looking for an auto console. It's harder to put plastic back than it is to take it out. 😄 I'm not too worried about the top plate, I am running a B&M shifter and the console would be modified in that area to accommodate the aftermarket shifter.:thumbsup:

Damn, you guys have had to deal with a lot of issues! I did a 5,7 swap in my Cuda about 18 years ago with a TF727. I used TTI mounts and headers and never experienced any issues at all with steering box clearance or any other clearance issues for that matter. Used the factory transmission mount...

I replaced every light in my 70 Cuda with LEDs. I had to go to a 3 prong flasher with a ground wire to get the turn signals to operate correctly.

I used these in my Cuda, put them in about 5 years ago and they have been working great...

An engine gasket set is pretty cheap for piece of mind!

I don't even have the latches in my seatbacks and in 20 years of driving my Cuda that has never happened!

Coupes don't have folding roofs, only convertibles do. 😜

Those mirrors are not from E or B bodies. Probably F body (Aspen/Volare) mirrors.
