The base has rounded cutout that is higher than the rectangle cut out the autos have for the 4spd hump. The one pictured is an auto

You can get a template to cut out the bottom plastic of the console to make it work on a four speed. The top plate is different between auto and manual.

I was looking for an auto console. It's harder to put plastic back than it is to take it out. I'm not too worried about the top plate, I am running a B&M shifter and the console would be modified in that area to accommodate the aftermarket shifter.
