    Hello from Florida

Welcome to FEBO from the desert! Not a bad looking Challenger! Do you have the vinyl roof chrome and rear bumper? If not, you can buy new ones. I like the door edge chrome, that's pretty rare!

    Brake caliper stress

Crud! I'm glad I have 71 disc brakes on my 71 Barracuda! Crazy how some things changed from year to year!

71 Challenger Rear license plate mounting

70 is it's own oddity and 71 is a crazy mix of 70 and later E-Bodies but closer to the 70.

    Erratic oil pressure

It's most likely the pressure spring, but you really need to take the pump off to deal with it. And at that point, I'm putting a new pump on. $120 for a Melling M63 is better that a new 440!

    Fuel Starvation/Tank Issues

Hit the main fuel line coming out of the fuel tank with an air hose with about 120 psi! It will blow a clogged sock off and verify that's what's wrong. I've always been leary of any coating inside a fuel tank. You can buy new filter/socks.

    Erratic oil pressure

One of the things I love about Mopar big blocks is that the pump is bolted in the outside. And it sounds like you're going to appreciate that too when you swap in new one!

Restoration back to a good driver.

Very nice! The slant 6 can be fun, but a 340 (already installed now) is even more fun! And I've never been a fan of drum brakes on the front of vehicles.

    First trip on the road

Very nice indeed! Got to love the Thermoquad. Especially when the rear secondaries snap open! You can hear the air rushing in as the car jumps to high speed! Yeehaw!! 😁

Sell or Trade? 70 Gran Coupe

Better to stick with the devil you know than the one you don't! It seems daunting sometimes, but bring it home to your place and force yourself to work on it at least 30 minutes every day.

    Chasing vibration a904

Can you post some pictures of the front shaft and backside of the torque convertor?

    71 challenger flat hood

Assuming it's really nice, $700 isn't crazy! Repos are $650 or so. And yours is factory original! @Katfish nailed it, shipping is the biggest factor.

    Front Sway Bar...?

Firm Feel also makes really nice front sway bars. If you have to weld in sway bar tabs, I'd weld in lower control arm stiffening plates as well!! Peter is a serious Mopar guy and I can't plug his stuff enough...

    Chasing vibration a904

Sounds like the front pump bushing is shot! Probably wasn't replaced during to rebuild. If it was me (assuming the transmission is out because of you describing the play in the front shaft), I'd tighten the front band snug, remove the front pump, replace the bushing, seal and rings (2 rings if I...

Has anyone used any of the digital LED tail lights for the 72-74 Cuda? Wondering if it's worth the investment?

LED is so much brighter. It's worth the investment! @heminut 's Cuda looks good with them!

1970 Barracuda/'Cuda Valence Rear panel bolt kit question

I don't think any car manufacture wanted their cars to last more than 10 years/100,000 miles. Mopars percentage wise last the longest. Then AMC, Ford and GM last. Chevies were popular because they typically were cheaper. They had good body styling (sigh, have to admit that), just too much...

    Rally odometer acting weird

Believe it or not (original is probably dried out by now), Mopar had a little brush with a black light die on it that followed the fist digit circle of the odometer that painted it to determine if the odometer was tampered with. Hopefully others see this and can comment on it. One of those...

1970 Barracuda/'Cuda Valence Rear panel bolt kit question

Sorry I deviated so far from the topic. I'm a Mopar head through and through!

1970 Barracuda/'Cuda Valence Rear panel bolt kit question

Bean counters also started having more influence than the engineers had in the mid-50s through the 60s. Side note, part of what made (makes?) GM lousy was the bean counters in my opinion. They had decent bodies and ideas, but got cheap with excessive plastic and inferior metals. But you have...
