71 Challenger Rear license plate mounting

Hello
My 71 Challenger looks like there may be a top bracket for the rear license plate missing.
I only have 2 holes for the bottom of the plate which doesn’t seem complete. Anyone have any information on this? Thanks in advance

This is what my 73 has. Behind that triangular piece are two holes on the valance like yours.

What you show for your 71 rear valance is how the license plate mounts. The 71 did not have the triangular bracket.

70 is it's own oddity and 71 is a crazy mix of 70 and later E-Bodies but closer to the 70.

My Dec 70 build 71 Challenger and my early build 72 Challenger did not come with the triangular license plate bracket. They mount like you show.
