I custom built them for each application based on which MSD box the person was running and if the car was an air conditioning car or not. They are machined out of a 3/8 plate of aluminum.
I have built a aluminum plates for a few different e-bodies to mount MSD ignitions in the place of the stock electronic ignition module. This gives a good way to install it with the rubber vibration isolators and not have to drill extra holes in the firewall/cowl for the car.
Options 1 and 2 are really the same in terms of the tank. Hooking up the 4 lines to the ECS tube in the trunk and then blocking the line to the engine compartment effectively seals that volume, just the same as capping the 4 tubes at the tank. In either option 1 or 2, you still need to run a...
I am looking for a full set of Stage V Hemi Rocker Arms. If anyone has a set they are willing to part with, please let me know. Trying to build a motor and that is the last of the parts to source for it.
Thanks
Scott
Trying to clean out the last of the parts from the garage that I won't need. I have an original cuda decklid off a 70 car. It does have the normal rust on the lip behind the trim, but other than that appears to be pretty solid. Also have a front 11x2.5 drum brake setup (spindles, drums, etc)...
I agree with Mopar Nut on the Reilly setups. I have installed them on a few cars now. All ride great, and the installation/setup of them were not too difficult.
At the top of the gas pedal, where the throttle cable attaches, there is a large hole for the cable end to slide through then the slot that it goes into to hold it. Was there a plug that is supposed to fill the large opening once you get the cable captured in the pedal? My pedal doesn't have...
I don't know about a splined adapter, but the Reilly Alterktion setup includes an adapter to go from the stock shaft to a double d universal. When you remove the original coupler, you put a shoulder bolt where the original press pin was in the shaft. I suspect he is getting it from Flaming...
I am looking for a pair of the reinforcement plates (and the bumper guard brackets too for that matter) for a 71 Cuda that go behind the rear bumper where the bumper guards bolt to them. There are several places that sell just the bumper guard brackets, but the only kit that really seems to...
As part of the replacement sheet metal for my car, I had the passenger inner fender replaced. I didn't catch it at the time, but the replacement panel doesn't have the corner above the shock notched for the emissions tube like the factory one does. Has anyone else run into this issue? Does...
Excellent, thanks. I found a set of them and was able to add the holes that were missing. For some reason, my car had holes for both driver side brackets, but only the rear one on the passenger side. The front one was missing.
It looks like I am missing a bracket that had me confused. I have the set for below the headliner, but wasn't aware there was a second bracket that went above the headliner. That is what had me confused as there are two vertical holes in about the right place, but the brackets I have use a set...
