I have a new set of 11" rotors with 4.5" bolt centers, Wheel Bearings, and Inner seals for Free. These have the smaller A6 Rear Bearing and wheel seal for 1.25" Spindle. I Can' t use them, I need the larger bearing for the 1.375" spindle. The Vendor I used will not accept them as return due to...
Took the stone guard off the MC to Proportion valve…not enough room to fit the other lines. MC is installed just need to fab the distribution lines to the wheels .. then onto the calipers and wheel cylinders
Does anyone have any opinions on painting the outside surface? I read a few articles about using Hi-Temp engine paint with etching it first.
Or should it just be left as bare metal?
K-H Proportioning valve is also cleaned up and ready for reassembly. There was not as much debri inside as I expected…
M/C bore is probably in need of the stainless steel sleeve but I’m going to reassemble and see if it leaks.
After a 24 hour bath in Evapo-Rust the MC cleaned up nice. No scrubbing required…you can even see the part number and the made in the USA in the casting. This is the same MC as pictured in the above photos

After inspection the FVP has the same internal components as the original. All items spec out dimensionally.
The only concern I have is on the original there was a backflow preventer on the Rear line set behind the brass seat… the aftermarket does not have one.
Does anyone see an issues with...
I was going to disassemble it tomorrow to see if the internals are the same…if so I was going to use that to rebuild the original? Not sure the new aluminum one would hold up? It’s advertised as 12months or 12k miles.
I’ll reach out to that company in MN MoparMitch suggested next week.
