Can anyone help me ID the 2 bolts that go behind the rear license plate on a 71 Challenger? I have a old Dave Wise fastener guide but they are not listed.
Does anyone have the description of the correct bolts or screws that go in the center of the rear valance behind the license plate on a 71 Challenger? I have the part number from the factory assembly manual 9431953 the description says ‘SC & WA self drilling’ . I have older Dave Wise E Body...
I am in need of 3 of what I am calling a conical washer that goes under the stamped steel nut for the rear taillight panel on my 71 Challenger, if you have 1or 2 or any amount let me know. It uses 12 total, they appear to be originally yellow cad l guess.

Any thoughts on gas tank and rear springs being installed at the factory with the rear valance in place? Again asking opinions if the valance was in place when the whole car was painted.
Actually it just hit me if the valance didn’t have the exhaust tip cut outs it would be pretty difficult to install the the fuel tank after the valance.
I’m just fishing around for more opinions on when the valances were installed pertaining to the paint process. I have an under coated (J55?) 71 so I thought I’d see if the gas tank had under coating behind the valance, it does not. So I removed the tank with the valance installed, it can be done...
Is anyone reproducing the plastic plug for dash harness where the ignition switch plugs in? It’s for my 71 Challenger, I’m sure it was used on many years and models.

Thanks for the input, not sure we are talking about the same hole if you are referencing the hole in the torsion bar cross member in your photo, I am referring to the inner rocker.
