I would work on it after work on Friday and then a full day on Saturdays, if no family commitments. What I found when I got burnt out was I took a break, maybe a couple days, a week or weeks. Seeing someone else drive by or a TV show like Vise Grip Garage would sometimes get me going again. I...
I have never installed a back window or front windshield before either. I bought some suction cups from Amazon to aid in holding the glass. I purchased the correct thickness 3M Butyl tape kits 5/16" and some 3M Single Step Primer, 08682, Black Color and one tube of 3M 08609 Window-Weld Super...
Hard to really hear exactly where the sound is coming from in the video, better being there. But. I would remove the valve covers and check to see if there is any oil up there. Oil should travel up and into the rocker shafts then leak out of them into the rockers to keep it all oiled up there...
You video was invaluable. I made one for my 6 barrel set up and it worked great. I modified your set up slightly by not using the relay to keep from back feeding into the timer circuit.
I found an 20A timer circuit with case and added a diode in series with the choke feed to stop from back...
I did mine from below, lowering the car onto the eng/trans and K-member. It was super easy with no problems and I didn't have to remove the hood. I used rectangular tubing to bolt to the front bumper bolt holes and obviously a chain and engine hoist. If I had to do it again, that is how I would...
I bought a dipstick from Mancini racing and have not had a leak. I had bought one from Summit with the rubber sleeve type seal and it leaked from day one.
I can't help with the exact wiring but I would advise you to buy, if you don't own one already, a factory service manual for your year car. The information is invaluable. Use the link below and you can buy the PDF version.

I did and it didn't seem to hold the speed. I found that the vacuum line feeding the cruise unit from the brake booster was squished shut so I think that I may not have had vacuum present. I need to change the vacuum line and retest. The lost motion link does allow the throttle to go fully open...
Hello Old Mopar. My car was originally a 318 2 barrel w/cruise. I saved the carburetor with all linkage from the manifold and I do have the lost motion link. I made a bracket to connect the cruise cable to the throttle linkage. I'll post a picture of it on the carburetor tomorrow.
If you want to prime the engine to make sure oil has traveled through engine I would just pull the coil plug wire off the coil or distributor and turn it over with the key. Maybe 10 to 15 seconds, let it rest and do it again. That way you do not burn out the starter. That will prime your engine...
I did not Dyno the engine. I would have liked to but there is no dyno's close enough. My guess is in the low to mid 400hp range. Yes that is a Dakota dash and its the non-rally dash VHX-70D-STD-K-W. I really like that there is a tach and oil gage in the cluster. I really like the look of the...
If the vehicle is not running just put in as much as shows full on the dipstick. Once its running, put the transmission in Neutral and check the level when warmed up.
