    Oil Pressure

What grade of oil is in the engine for example 20W-50?

    Oil Pressure

I would not bother to start the engine twice - most wear occurs when the engine and oil are cold during the first 10 minutes of running. The starter should in no way affect the engine oil pressure.

    Need help with a part

I think that lamp is part of the A01 light group - not sure if you could order it without the other parts of the group. It is paired with the ignition key lamp and has a timer.

    Exhaust Manifold Flow

I don't remember exact price it was about 5 years ago - but yes it was pricey. It would be a lot worse today I think. I think if I lived close the TTI would be the way I would go for sure. The shorty design is ideal for a street motor. IMO they would work at least as good as the HP manifolds...

    Exhaust Manifold Flow

No change to starter but I remember having to tell them what starter I had. The stock one. Spark plugs easy as. I also purchased the shorty front pipes tube set - all fitted very well. The primary tubes are fairly small at 1 5/8 and not that long but at a guess they would collect at around the...

    Exhaust Manifold Flow

I used the TTI shortys. They were not cheap but they fit and do work quite well power wise.

Valve colors ,340 with Trickflow heads .your thoughts , thanks

Also there seems to be evidence of a fair bit of electrolysis or corrosion in the cooling system. Not enough grounds can do that and it can mess with the fuel injection. These days when fitting aluminium heads I fit ground cables to the body on both heads.

Can you post pics of the plugs. Why did you use the colder plug than recommended?

Recommendations for ceramic brake pads, 1970 Challenger

I fitted the Hawk HB643F.595 HPS I got them from Summit. They work very well.

    Heater core vacuum test

If it held the vacuum you should be OK - or it is blocked. Run it with just water in the cooling system and a few old bath towels in the footwell for a few days. But they are old and do fail - so maybe just replace the core with a new/tested one as a previous poster suggested. This should...

    Clutch ticking noise

Make sure you check the crankshaft end thrust. Just to be sure it is in spec.

    Clutch ticking noise

I heard a clutch make a sort of ticking noise once - it was a bent/cracked release arm of the pressure plate. This clutch did work but was somewhat juddery when you tried to get moving from stopped.

70 Challenger Jegs Disc Brake Conversion Kit Problems HELP!

Is there a little free play on the master cylinder pushrod? The master cylinder piston may not be returning all the way.

    71 Challenger Tailight Panel

There is definitely a reflective foil in there. Sorry I can't exactly remember how I attached one of the reflectors on my car. I think I glued the reflective foil sparingly to the lens with clear glue - then stuck the reflector to the panel with thin double sided tape.

A833, Hard to get in any gear.

Oil is worth a try but I am going to predict no change the problem will still be there. Can you do an update after you change the oil.

A833, Hard to get in any gear.

I have been doing this clutch test since I was an apprentice. Not an exact science but it will indicate there is a major problem with clutch or that it may not be the problem. You will need a helper. Jack the car up and put on stands. Engine off. Get your helper to put the gearbox in 4 th gear...

A833, Hard to get in any gear.

Do you have a bearing or a bush in the end of the crankshaft? If the bearing it can contact a little ground ridge on the A833 input shaft. If a bush it could be a little tight.
