Tons of great information here guys thanks a lot I've been super busy moving lately but I'm going to try to troubleshoot it here in the next couple weeks and I'll let you know what the outcome is
All very good points yeah I'll have to get a good wiring diagram which I knew would probably be the situation but I figured if somebody knew something quick and easy for me to try I'd start there with the easy stuff... The seat belt interlock is definitely a possibility I'm going to look more...
Somebody was telling me they make a bypass for the seat belt interlock.... Is there a way I can bypass the interlock system? Has anyone ever heard of something or someone doing that?
So I have a no start situation with my 74 Dodge Challenger.... I have power to inside the car dome light accessories all come on but when I go to turn the key no power goes to the starter... I can successfully start the car when I jump the starter relay which I've already replaced twice with no...
It wouldn't matter if it was a 1 and 7/8 or 1 5/8 header ... You're not going to get a drop torque... If I took the stock manifolds off of stock and for some reason put 1 7/8 headers on it would gain torque... ( Even on a stock engine) ( From stock manifolds) And the difference between 1 and...
There are plenty of reasons.not to put long tube full length headers on your car ... Such as fitment ,cost ECT... But losing torque even on the low end even on a close to stock engine or even stock engine is not one of them....
I haven't put it on a Dyno yet but I can tell you right now...
Well John cope used to or maybe still does build racing 904 and 727 transmissions ...
The primary reason why people or some people choose to go with a 904 is because it weighs less and less rotating Mass... Typically worth about 2/10 on a quarter mile versus a 727... Both transmissions are...
I am getting ready to build a 8 3/4 for my Plymouth duster ( I had some extra backing plates from my Challenger) conversion to large bolt pattern new axels extra
Okay cuz I think that's what these are 10 and a half inch drums which I think are the same drums I have on my 74 Challenger... I have an extra set that I'd like to put on my duster cuz I'm converting to large bolt pattern
I might end up going that route... I was reading that there's a one piece and three-piece knock down linkage options from the factory... I'm not sure which one I had on my car originally... I don't have the original one.. I have read that you can modify a two barrel set up...
