    Engine starting issues (440 Mopar)

The most accurate way to do a compression test is with all the plugs out AND the throttle blades held wide open.

    Longer wheel studs required

If he is setting the car up to race he has to use the 3" studs, the longer shank lugnuts won't pass tech.

    What type of fluid?

Like most of the other responders, I run Type F fluid in my 727, always have. I also run one of the deep steel pans and have never had an issue with it.

I agree, but that's the kind of crap we have to deal with when using repop parts.

    Sail Panel Installation

I don't have the coat hooks in mine and the panels stay in place without them. I did put new panels in when I put the new headliner in years ago, and they are still fitting good.

1970 plymouth Barracuda A/C dash pad core .steel frame.

This should be in the Parts For Sale section, not here. Also, all the cores have the openings for the A/C vents so your core would work for A/C or non A/C cars. When the cores are redone the holes are covered over on a non A/C pad.

    Wheel well molding help

The repop moldings are just that bad of a fit! I have them on my Cuda and have never been able to get a good fit. I am seriously considering taking them off and cutting the inside flange with a pair of tin snips where they pass over the body lines so I can get a decent bend in them! One side of...

Battery: What are you using and why.

Another Wal Mart battery user here, like Xcudame, I live in the desert and I get the most inexpensive battery I can. I used to drag race my Cuda so I mounted the battery in the trunk in a vented stainless steel battery box in accordance with NHRA rules. I no longer race the car, but theres an...

Ok what the F just happened! Blew the battery caps off!

Motorcycle batteries are notorious for not lasting very long and the battery for my full dress Harley are damned expensive. I keep a battery tender plugged into it whenever I'm not out riding and I usually get 5-6 years out of a battery, which is exceptional for motorcycle batteries. I also keep...

    Steering issues

That's only one reason for that, worn front end parts and caster angles can also cause that. I put a caster adjustment kit on my son's Wrangler to try and resolve the issue with it. I took it to a local guy who was reportedly really good at resolving these issues on Jeeps. My son's Wrangler...

    OER carpet feedback?

Correct on both accounts! Mine was a great fit, just had to do some trimming. I got mine with the upgraded "Mass Backing", some kind of a rubber type backing and it was a big improvement over the jute backing.

    I think it finally happened.

I-10 in Arizona sucks! I could sit in a car blindfolded and literally tell right when we crossed the state line from New Mexico into Arizona! New Mexico has it's I-10 problems too though. The issue is that I-10 has some of the highest volume of commercial carriers in the country and those...
