the realisation as to why we do this mopar thing!

Nice ride @One of few! Can you share details on your wheels and tires? I'm waiting on a set YearOne Rallye wheels. Part Number: MRWDS1 (8" front, 9" rear) which are currently out of stock. I have not decided on tires yet. What are you running? Tires on my Challenger are 15 years old. Look...

Thanks. Bill Meerholz @ bmcuda.com is about 40 minutes from me, so high on my list of repair companies.

I've been searching but so far come up empty. Looks straight forward though. I'd need to practice soldering since I've not done any in a lot of years. Location: Edinburgh as in Edinburgh, Scotland?

Thanks @MoparCarGuy. Strikes me as an odd design choice for an electrical device. Good thing my car lives in the garage and not the shed with my oft wasp infested mower 🐝

@EW1BH27 - Have you seen this Mopar Connection Magazine article? It details their wiper motor restoration done by Topher McGinnis. 3-Speed Wiper Motor Restoration by The Headlight Motor Man I notice the same hole in their motor too. So probably a design feature, not damage. 👍

Thanks @MoparCarGuy. Good to have choices. Just curious if you noticed the hole in your motor too or if that is in fact a coincidence.

I haven't decided what I'm going to do about getting my motor repaired / restored / replaced yet but did find something interesting or coincidental while surfing eBay. Looks like that hole in my housing might just be a feature and not some random damage. Check out the attached image. It has a...

Weight reduction is always costly 👍 I had just saw YouTube video "Mopar 3 Speed Wiper Motor Restored" that mentioned "a guy in Salem, Oregon", but as a courtesy, didn't mention the guy's name without the guy's permission. Thanks for the reference! I also found remanufactured motors at Norm's...

@EW1BH27 - I came across your videos and several other of your very informative threads while searching for information on this topic. Thanks for all the content - very helpful. Based on the video, I estimated your 3431077 motor was running at ~30 to 35 RPM Low and ~120 RPM High. I assume the...

1973 Challenger Rallye 3-Speed Wiper Motor #3431 665 (73692 3562) What RPM does your 3-Speed Wiper Motor run on Low/Med/High? I bench tested my Wiper Motor using the car battery (car not running). It runs at ~30 RPM on Low and ~60 RPM on high. Retested it in the car using the 3-Speed switch...

    3 Spd. Wiper Motor

@EW1BH27 - I have been going through the wiper switch/harness/motor trying to get everything working correctly. I'll go through the parts book to make a list of all the washer system items I need and then reach out here to do some shopping. Thanks for the feedback and tip about Floyd. I'll...

    3 Spd. Wiper Motor

Hey @EW1BH27 - where did you source everything to upgrade to the new reservoir, washer motor/pump, etc...? The PO of my 1973 deleted the entire washer system and I'd like to reinstall it.

Your Hydro Brake Conversion Kit Experiences

@61K T/A - what brake fluid will you use? I've heard good things about DOT-5. Thinking of using DOT-5 instead of DOT-3 since I'll basically be replacing the entire braking system. How about you?

Your Hydro Brake Conversion Kit Experiences

@61K T/A - My kit arrived 4-1/2 months after date of order. A lot has happened in that 4-1/2 months. I've needed to move the car around a few times to accommodate other activities in my garage, so I haven't started the installation. At least I was able to install new leaf springs (ESPO) and...

Update 3/11/24: Ordered the Hydratech hydro-boost kit today. 30 to 90 day lead time :-( After speaking with Jim @ Hyrdratech I also ordered a Borgeson PS pump for Hydro-Boost Brake Applications (Dual low-pressure inlets). According to Jim @ Hyrdratech, and confirmed by Borgeson, there are two...

Thanks @Bret Schneider. Good to know I'm on the right track. Curious to know why you changed the steering components. Not liking that classic Mopar vague and numb PS feel? I will be looking into a new PS pump with the dual low pressure inlets while everything is apart - might as well make one...

Asking for some feedback on hydro boost kits. 1973 Challenger Power Disc/Drum car. 383 of unknown origin, pulling only 11 inches of vacuum at idle. I'm looking at complete kits to avoid searching/making items to adapt to my specific needs. What kit did you use? Would you use the same one...

Replacement for Kelsey Hayes KH 89410 combination valve

@moparroy - thanks for the tips. I called Inline tube about their valves and was told they no longer carried a valve for my application. That decided it for me - I'll try the Master Power Brakes VL3360K universal kit. I spoke with them and gained some confidence that it will work just fine...
