    Body Parts Recommendations

The majority here including me will chose AMD if you can't find an original. If I remember correctly, there's three different trunk lids for 1970 Barracudas!

Find a shop with an old guy 60+ if you can. Buy him a twelve pack of fifth of his favorite brand and you'll be amazed what he can do for you!

    Torsion spring bar

70 Challengers had two bars for the trunk. 70 was unique in a lot of body parts. If the 71 has two bars your golden.

    Newbi with 1970 Challenger

Welcome to FEBO from the desert! It could be a slant 6 Western Sport Special! Code A91. 6.4 hemi or 440 is good! ADM sheet metal is closest to OEM. They make a paint that simulates a vinyl top.

    Hello everyone

My son bought two (long story) 2015 Dodge Challenger Scat Packs! His current one is the better of the two! And yes, he wants my 70 Challenger, 71 Barracuda and 64 Imperial! What more could a father ask for? Your Dad is so proud of you!!

    Thermoquad Rebuild Kit

You have your AP&P, you'll have no trouble rebuilding a Thermoquad! I wouldn't use the brass screws. Just get some steel screws and stake them! Get this book, you'll love it! https://www.amazon.com/Super-Tuning-Modifying-Carter-Carburetors/dp/0931472113

Hi, new Mopar guy… new to the site.

Get the Moog K7103 offset bushings for the upper control arms! That way you can get more caster and camber! Old Mopars can be made to handle great! https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/dodge,1970,challenger,5.2l+318cid+v8,1078422,suspension,control+arm+bushing,7532

GAINS FROM RAISED PORTING INTAKE AND ALUMINUM HEADS

I noticed even in the Edelbrock and 440 Stealth heads, there is definitely some gains to be made in the bowl area. They are better than stock factory heads, but still could use some work. Of course you know not to touch the floor on either the exhaust or intake, because they need more radius...

Do the parking lot drive with tight right and left turns. That will really help.

    360 - casting years confusing

440 swap is always good for more fun and less fuel milage! 😁 Keep in mind, you'll need a transmission and drive line swap as well if you have a 904 automatic now. Plus is you have an 8 1/4 rear, it won't hold up long under a 440! If you're lucky and have a 727 and 8 3/4 rear, you'll just need a...
