I have A 1971 Challenger Convertible I cannot locate The correct Torsion bar spring For the Trunk lid Wondered if A 71 Challenger hardtop Torsion bar spring woodwork I am told it is only one bar For the 71s Does anybody know if this will work

70 Challengers had two bars for the trunk. 70 was unique in a lot of body parts. If the 71 has two bars your golden.

We need someone with a ‘71 hardtop to take a measurement. I have a convertible too and although I haven’t tried too hard I have not found a bar that will hold the lid up more than a couple of inches…

11 70 build.

The sound deadening came off in a few places on the 1/4s. So after priming and painting the spots. I kind of crawled and did it all. In for a Penney in for a Pound.

Now that I think about it there should be no difference between hardtop and convertible as the hinges and lid are not convertible specific…
