    Black Paint for interior

I used Herb's for the interior white paint and used 2 cans to paint my older white moldings. I had no paint left after the second can so if I were you, I would buy three cans. Herb's paint matched perfectly. I bought my door panels, qtr panels and A-pillar moldings from Vansauto on E-bay and...

    Black Paint for interior

My car has a white interior and I had to refinish my interior hard parts, back window trim, headliner trim at the doors and qtr windows and the upper windshield trim. I did not use SEM for those parts because I wanted to match the color and SEM didn't have a white that looked close. I used...

    Ignition cylinder cover swap

I think it will be easier to swap the ignition switch than bend those tabs while the ignition switch is in the steering column. I have pictures of how to get to the ignition switch in order of disassembly if you would like them. I can post them here. My car is a 73 but the disassembly should be...

    heater control light

The ground for everything is the metal chassis of the car, dash frame etc. Thats why making sure the car is grounded is so important. That way only one wire is needed to power accessories such as dome lights, glovebox lights etc.

    headliner-fishing

I reused as much original wiring, that was still good, when I replaced my harness with one from Painless. The dome light harness runs down the C-pillar on the drivers side and plugs into the rear harness in the trunk. At least in my 73 Barracuda. If the wire is not brittle, I would not replace...

    headliner-fishing

Why are you replacing the dome light wiring? If the wiring was installed properly, the wires will be held in place by the flexible wire holders along the roof bow that the light housing screws into. The wiring may not come out easily. Also if the wiring is not held in place it will be touching...

73 Cuda fuel sender return port

I was amazed that, that is the way they did it back then. The venting starts and ends back there.

73 Cuda fuel sender return port

You can run a hose from the second (open) port on your sending unit to the line that runs where the charcoal canister used to be. Trim the old return port line back and connect with a rubber 1/4" hose to the fuel/vapor separator. The old line is 1/4" which is what my 440's return line is.

73 Cuda fuel sender return port

The vent is the tube/port on the passengers side of the fuel tank. Pictures 2, 3 and 4 show the venting system. It is all contained in what you see in the picture and it vents into the frame rail. This venting system is a factory setup, I did not make the system myself.

73 Cuda fuel sender return port

I just want to be clear that there are many ways to do what you need. This is just my opinion. And you know what they say, "opinions are like a--holes, everybody's got one:... Ok, so I was wrong about the sending unit. That is the correct sending unit and can be used. The pictures are what I...

73 Cuda fuel sender return port

Since you are missing the charcoal canister and you are not going for a contours restoration, I would eliminate it all together. I have converted my 318 73 from the vapor/return system to 440 with the return line to the tank with the vent lines that go into the trunk and route back into the...

    Sudden Lifter Noise

You might want to figure out why they are bending before you replace them and bend more. Maybe the wrong length push rods or if you have adjustable rockers check the gaps. Keep us posted on what you find.
