Is there a way to test the heater control light (yellow wire)?

Can the bulb be changed or does the entire part has to be replaced?

Has anyone sourced them anywhere?

Thanks!

Easy test. With the fixture mounted, unplug the wire and send 12 volts down the male spade. If the bulb is burned out, disassemble and replace with a 1815 bulb.

I suspected it could be opened that way but was hesitant because i'm a lot better at breaking things than fixing.

I was able to test it and it worked. Thanks!

The ground for everything is the metal chassis of the car, dash frame etc. Thats why making sure the car is grounded is so important. That way only one wire is needed to power accessories such as dome lights, glovebox lights etc.
