    Thank you everyone for the information. the 5/16 18 seemed close but since I cleaned all three of the ones I had with a battery terminal brush and it would not fit in any of them, I just wanted to make sure before using a tap on them. Thank again

    I am trying to figure out what size and Theard bolt is used in the bottom of the rear bumper guard for 1970 Challenger shown below. It is the bolt that connects to the frame bracket, it is close to a 5/16 X 18 but that will not work. I am thinking it must be a special bolt. Matt

    I ended up buying the Dayton HB889 from Rockauto Partially since I am using Dayton RB60 for the I-bushing on the other end of the leaf spring.
