While installing the rear valance, I realized that There are no trunk extensions installed.. It had new quarters, and trunk floor that was already installed when I got the car.. As I was looking at pictures on the web , I noticed that about three out of every five pictures do not have trunks ...
Lol sorry about that. There is only two phillips heads , and I think they go in the center of the valance where the two brackets are and the other two hex screws go on each end.. I guess that's not really a question.Rather needing verification , l o l...
I recently bought a mounting kit for the rear valance. It has 4 nuts 4 studs, 2 smaller hex bolts and two smaller phillips head bolts.. I know where the four studs and nuts go.. Best I can figure is the two smaller phillips head screws go in the center supports and the two smaller hex bolts go...
The new shock fits the cross member perfectly.\nAnd you can put the bolt through easily, the new shot does not have the washers.. too Me it looks like if it had washers on each side of the shock , it just seems it would be\nBetter reinforced..
Lol now i'm just curious, is it something that could have been used or should have been used by taking the old?\nSleeve out of the shock and taking one washer off of that piece and slide it in the rubber on the end of the new shock.. I don't know..lol
I am slowly putting this seventy three back together, working on the rear shocks.. There were no shocks on the car when I got it.. This is what I found in the upper cross member where the shocks go with a bolt going through in a nut.On the other side.. Not.l, Sure what it is unless it is part of...
Passenger side brake line goes under the frame. My question is , does it go behind the gas lines or in front of the gas line.. Also, driver side brake line comes under the frame and comes up to the proportioning valve.Does it go in front of the master cylinder lines or behind them? Thanks
There are holes I the trunk..Just look there would be metal ring that would go over the rubber seal then the screws...wouldn't think the screws would go just through the holes in the rubber seal only...
Does anyone know if the factory fuel filler tube rubber gasket that goes through the trunk floor, had a thin metal ring around it... That went over the gasket, and the screws went down through the metal ring and through the rubber gasket into the floor of the trunk. Thanks
