It is 2 years old has anyone ordered from them latley?
Thanks for the update, where the backer plates bare steel or something that was coated. Below are my originals, as is and the other after 24 hours in Evaporust.
Thanks @moparleo that is what I was referring to above but was more curious if there was a change in specifications or and error in the manual which I have run into in the past. I suppose the example carb I posted from above could have been used in a different model of car with A/C and manual...
Thanks for the clarification, kind of had me scratching my head when I cam across one listed on ebay that does have it.
this looks like a K9 or Nov of 69 if I am reading that right, the one I have sourced is a E0 or May of 70 manufacture date which does not have the solenoid.
So my question would be is if I follow the parts catalog correctly it looks like there should not be an idle solenoid on this carb, any confirmation would be appreciated.
The carb was MIA on my car when I got it. My car a 340, manual trans, with A/C.

ECS is sold out. Called them and they said maybe six months they would have more but no guarantees.
Does anyone else make these? Internet searches are coming up dry.
If you are converting from manual to PS you will either have to collapse the telescoping shaft to make it shorter or find a PS telescoping shaft due to length issues. Not sure if you were aware of that, I'm going down that same path and learning it also.
That’s concerning, my plates are off having new studs put on, don’t have them in hand.
Assume there is a metal sleeve in the bushing? (Don’t have my shocks available)
