There is a factory exhaust hanger on the drivers side, but not the passenger side. That indicates it was a 318 car. The sway bar is factory installed. If it hasn't been removed, it should have one on the front that goes thru the K member and attaches to the lower control arms at about the middle...
It will either be a 318 car or a 340 car. Do a VIN search for JH23G3B218554 and JH23H3B218554 and see if you can find anything. If there are seats with it, look under the seat springs to see if you can find a build sheet. It would be a good idea to get a private investigator to run those VIN...
The engine VIN pad is on the passenger side, right above the oil pan rail and near the drain plug. If it's still up on the lift, you can find it easily. The one under the front of the drivers side head is just engine plant info, etc.
The car came out of the LA plant with a 318 2 barrel (E44), (D31) 904 (D34) light duty TORQUEFLITE and 2.76 rear gears. No amount of AI dipshittedness is going to disprove that. Just sell it for what it is.....a very nice car!

Look up in the right end of the gold bar across the top. See where it says mrmopar340? Click that little envelope just to the right of your name. Then click on the words Show All. You will see a list of all of your messages in your box, with a little square box just to the right of each message...
That's a 73 340 air cleaner. The 340 air cleaners with the flapper door on the bottom were 72 year model only. 73 model 340's had the ones like above. In 74, the 360 cars had one similar. The base and lid were the same as above, but 360 four barrel cars had oval snorkels on them. A body cars had...
@Bill Peake If you were involved with the reproduction of these manifolds, thank you very much! They look great. For your next project, may I suggest Orange 340 Pie tins for the 70-71 model 340 air cleaners. Should be a much easier endeavor since the metal part is already being made somewhere...
I wish I could find the extremely old school version of a NASCAR small block Mopar intake. An Edelbrock LD340TA. Looks like a regular LD340, but has oval W2 ports. I'm haunted by the one I picked up in the swap meet at The Mopar Nationals back in the mid 80's. It was just a greasy old LD340 with...
