    Ignition cylinder cover swap

Thanks - It looks like maybe you bend the tabs up and the cover will slide off (or the tabs will just break or be impossible to bend!!)

    Ignition cylinder cover swap

I am asking about disassembly of the cylinder itself. Is the cover just crimped on? Can it be easily removed and swapped with a satin one?

    Ignition cylinder cover swap

I'm wondering how difficult it is to swap out the cover of my ignition cylinder. I have an NOS one I installed when I did my restoration but it is chrome. I have a 70 so it should be satin. I have a perfect satin cylinder so I was wondering how hard it is to swap the cover over.

    USA Hockey

Loved Jack's interview after the game. Very refreshing to hear after all of the woke nonsense interviews from other athletes.

    Seat belt restoration

Communication was great. The buckles were in decent shape...I don't recall if they were rechromed or just polished.

    Body shop experiences

@Raycuda brings up one of the most important points. It is very valuable to have the shop close by so you can make frequent in person visits (some unannounced!). You want to make sure you can see what is getting done and how they are going about it.

    heater box

IMO all of the value is in that front cover. If it's broken, $100. If it's not broken, $1,000. That's just because I've never seen one that wasn't broken in person. Pretty sure the first person to sit in the passenger seat in 1970 broke most of them.

WTB 1970 e body rear seat belt set

It's funny how most E body seat belts for 1970 were made in Q3 of 69. They must have made a huge batch for most of the model year then.

1970 Challenger Convertible - New Member

Do you have all of the hard to find convertible specific parts? I would start there and make sure you have what you need and that it is usable.
