The rear bumper needs to be updated to a 1972 version or back to an original bumper filler. The trunk (with bedliner) would concern me. Definitely a lot of detail issues. Sloppy overspray on the underside. I could go on and on. Personally, I don’t think that it’s a good investment.

If you have skills, guys have pulled off impressive paint jobs in their home garage for 10% of the costs that are mentioned.

I can confirm this: “The fairly rare 1972 ‘Cudas with V21 performance hood treatment (a mostly black hood), did receive cowl blackout.” My 1972 ‘Cuda with V21 option received the cowl blackout. Most of the cars that are restored, with the V21 option, don’t seem to have them.

Absolutely and you’re correct. For whatever reason (maybe it’s the angle and shadowing of the pic), his bumper doesn’t seem flush. If I’m wrong, then I’m wrong...

Looks like a 1973-1974 rear bumper with a spacer and missing the bumperettes, which pushes it out too far. It needs a 1972 bumper with the correct, bumperette black fillers.

Your back bumper looks incorrect. The bumperettes are pushed out..
