    Shift without key - Solved

My 73 automatic floor shift Barracuda can shift out of park and into any gear without the key in the ignition also. There is no and was no interlock (linkage) on my car. Maybe if it was a column shift there may have been an interlock when the key was not in the ignition.

Fuel return line routing from the sender

In order to use the fuel return your car should have the fuel vapor separator, before the fuel pump. From there you would have the return line which would feed back to your sending unit. You must be missing the return line as well?

    Fuel Pressure Measuring?

I switched from the Mopar electronic ignition to the Summit brand, ready to run distributor. It fit under my 6 brrl air cleaner and has vacuum advance if needed. Knock on wood, I have not had any problems. Using the RTR distributor allowed me to clean up the firewall a bit and less wires.

    Finally finished

Nice work. The car looks great. The sad part about finishing the car is that you have gotten into a habit of working on the car nights and weekends and now you don't have to work on it anymore, at least to the same level that you were working on it. It leaves an empty space in your time, in a...

    Exhaust hanger bracket

Did you buy your exhaust yet? If you haven't you may be able to buy that when you order your exhaust. When I bought my exhaust from TTI, I ordered everything that I needed from them. My car was a single exhaust car too.

8 3/4 489 case cone style sure grip

If you could, pull the new items out of the carrier and lay them next to the old parts and compare. I would think the difference would be able to be seen. If not I would contact Mancini Racing with your question. They should be able to answer you.

    Flasher relay? Identify this relay?

My original time delay relay wasn't working so I took it apart. It is just a contact that is closed when hot, and opens when it cools down, approximately 20-30 seconds. The contacts get dirty. I used 220 sandpaper and just dragged it across the contacts to clean them. Works like a champ once again.

All the reasons why the new brake light harness won't work?

When troubleshooting always split the problem in two so that you can rule out one or the other, ie unplug the rear lamp harness in the drivers kick panel and check that half first. Make sure the rear lamp harness has a good ground. My 73 has the ground wire near the drivers side taillight...

Has anyone rebuilt this style of heater control valve?

Hello All. Has anyone every rebuilt or know where to get parts to rebuild the heater control valve from a 1973 Barracuda? I know other years and body lines may have used this type. I took mine apart and the small round rubber seal broke in pieces because it had hardened. I see some NOS ones for...

    Booster problem? Pedal doesn't return.

You can send your break booster out for repair. I used Vacuum Brake Boosters | Power Brake Booster Exchange, Lynwood to rebuild my booster and they plated it also. There are other companies that rebuild them too.
