    TF727 rear mount not centered

Thanks all for your input! I'll get a poly bushing and see how it goes.

    TF727 rear mount not centered

Hi Steve, thanks for the tip! Did you loosen the engine mounts before pulling the trans rear to drivers side?

    TF727 rear mount not centered

Thanks guys, I have new mount ready but started wondering if the mount bushing sitting non-center is normal (depenging on the angle of engine+trans) or something that should be fixed. The crossmember in the picture should go left (co-driver side) or tranny should go right (driver side) to make...

    TF727 rear mount not centered

I started to replace the support mount for the 727 in my 70' Challenger and noticed that it is quite a bit off-center (also found out that the crossmember is from 72-74 car and had to drill a couple of new holes but that should not matter the mount position). Is this something that needs...

    TF727 rooster comb

Hi, I have 1967 TF727 transmission in 1970 Challenger. Tranny has 1-prong neutral safety switch without back-up light switch. From various Mopar forums I learned that updating to 3-prong switch with backup lights (1969 and up) would need also new "rooster comb" inside the tranny. How difficult...

    Starter wiring

Great, that worked well and it seems that the starter is OK 👍🏻

    Starter wiring

Thanks for the advice! Would this wiring work then? I assumed that when you feed 12V to the starter relay IGN terminal (#3 in the picture), it connects terminals #1 and #2 and lets power go also to the smaller terminal in starter.

    Starter wiring

Hi, My1970 Challenger has not been started for >25 years. Previous owner has messed around with the wiring under the hood. I started to go through the wiring and to test if starter motor is working or not. It is now wired as shown in the picture but does not react when jumping the two uppermost...

Will 1970 door weatherstrips/felts fit to 1973 door?

Bummer  But good to know anyway, thank you.

Will 1970 door weatherstrips/felts fit to 1973 door?

Thanks! So if I do other way around: Buy the felt set for 1971-74, the door glass strips fit with screws, and the quarter window felts fit also to 1970 car?

    windows first or head liner?

I have glasses off the car and also planning to put headliner first. In the last picture you have the headliner edges turned around the rear glass frame, on the surface where butyl strip/sealer goes. Did you cut those headlinerstrips away before applying the adhesive?

Will 1970 door weatherstrips/felts fit to 1973 door?

Hello, does anybody know what is the difference between these 1970 weatherstrips and 1971-1974 weatherstrips? I have 1970 car but the driver's door is probably from 1973. If I buy the felt set for 1970, will the door felt fit also to 1973 door?

    R/T hood front edge shape

Great, thanks a lot! It's a bit tricky to see it from pictures but laser tells it all 😎👍🏻

    R/T hood front edge shape

Hello, I have an original R/T hood which seems to be slightly bent down in center of the front edge. What should be the distance of front edge center level to the corners level? The measure of blue line In the attached picture (pic is not from my car). Is the shape convex or straight to center...

Cool, which year and production plant your car is from? I found two more in brake pedal

    dash frame stamp

Thanks for checking! My car was assembled in Los Angeles plant on 20th of Aug 1969. I would be intrested to know if all 1970 cars have them, or if 1970 L.A. cars have em, or was it only '70 early cars' thingy.

Thanks! If the production lane was fully automated, the clamp marks should be at the same locations in all cars. If the clamps were positioned by a person, the locations can be at least slightly different. Have you guys seen these in your cars and where?

Haha, well it is good to know that the car has been vaccinated 😄 but against what? Rust, fuel economy, ricers..? 🤔😁
