I am installing a 8HP70 in my 73 with the 392. Question is what rear ratio should I run in the rear. I want it to be plenty spirited for stop light challenges but not pegging the tack on a 60 M.P.H. cruise.
Has anyone have any experience in installing a newer Challenger or Charger axle assembly in a E-Body? Seems like a tremendous amount of work but I have one already from my donor car.
What is the opinion of everyone running the gen 3 hemi in a classic? Did you go with the factory ECU or Holley or ??? How about the TCU? I am planning on running the 8HP70 transmission but Holley says their computer will not operate it. All opinions are appreciated.
I'm in the process of doing an engine swap and have seen several different positions on this subject. My question is, is it better to remove the engine and transmission from the top through the hood or drop it through the bottom with the K-member?
