I like the lights squared up in the housing and reverse light removed. No mods to vehicles, just cutting up an extra set of taillights. If you squint, it mint.
All gages work except temperature gage, also missing chrome knob on clock. I cleaned and polished the lens, painted the needles. Gages worked before removed from car, I clean and tested them with 9 volt battery and they make a full sweep. Ran the clock on 12 volts for 6 hours and kept good time...
I will have to compare re core cost, with buying a new rad. Also there are so many Aluminum rads on the market not sure what to buy. Don't want to break the bank. Its a stock 340 with 22 inch rad.

The test light was dimming because the limiter applies 5 volts to the gages. It does it by turning the 12 volts on and off, if constant it would fry the gages. The new electronic voltage limiters apply a constant 5 volts to the gages, much better system.
