Thanks to all for the input, clearly it's not an original shaker hood which is pretty much what I expected (and fine with me). My plan is to finish it properly and use it on my challenger convertible. Which leads me to another question that will be a topic for a different thread.

I realize this is a slightly older thread, am hoping you can help me. How can I tell if the hood in the pic below is an original shaker hood, or a cobbled-up regular challenger hood? Any help is appreciated.
